Foreign Investment Registration We assist individual investors and multinational corporations to establish and start their businesses in the Maldives, including branch office registration and incorporation of companies and partnerships.
Company Secretary service is provided to both local and foreign investment companies. Company Secretary is a resident individual required to be appointed by every limited liability company under the Companies Act of the Maldives.
Functions of the Company Secretary include preparation and filing of annual reports, maintenance of corporate documents and advising on corporate regulatory requirements.
Registered Office service is provided by the firm and is a legal requirement under the Companies Act. All official government communications will be made to the registered address of the company.
Resident Director service is provided for companies with foreign shareholding who require the services. The Companies Act requires at least one director of the company to be a resident of the Maldives.
A Legal Representative service is offered for foreign company branch offices. A legal representative shall be appointed by a branch of a foreign company registered in the Maldives. This is a requirement under the Companies Act.
